Community & Event Support Intern (The Drivery Japan)

We are looking for an intern who is passionate about fostering community engagement and supporting the planning and execution of events that connect like-minded professionals.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Community Engagement:
Build relationships with members of The Drivery Japan community, acting as their go-to person for support and fostering connections within the network.
Event Planning & Support:
Assist in organizing and executing events, including workshops, panel discussions, and networking events. This includes logistical support, coordinating with speakers, and managing event-day operations.
Marketing & Communications:
Contribute to our communication efforts by drafting community updates, social media content, and event invitations. Help manage our online presence through platforms like LinkedIn, newsletters, and event listings.
Member Support:
Assist with day-to-day member needs, ensuring they feel supported and connected with the community, including addressing inquiries and facilitating introductions.
Administrative Support:
Handle general administrative tasks, including data entry, report preparation, and updating event and community management tools.
Design Support:
Create visually appealing one-pager documents summarizing company information using tools like PowerPoint.

We Are Looking For Someone Who: • Is fluent in English (required), with a good command of Japanese and/or German (B2 level or above preferred). • Has excellent communication skills and enjoys working with people. • Is proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Has a background (or is pursuing education) in marketing, business, event management, or a related field (preferred). • Is comfortable with digital tools such as social media platforms, email marketing tools, and spreadsheets.
