Business Transformation
Position number: J006
As an intern at our Mercedes-Benz Japan office in Makuhari, Chiba Prefecture, you will have the opportunity to experience an intercultural working environment. You will have a wide range of opportunities in an automobile company and improve your knowledge and skills by working together with our team as well as other departments.
*Note: Our office is currently located in Chiba City (near Kaihin-Makuhari Station), not Shinagawa
As a part of our team your tasks will be:
1. Digital Tools Implementation
- Aid in the implementation and adoption of new digital tools and platforms
- Provide training and support to end-users to drive overall digital transformation activities
2. Change Management
- Support the development and implementation of Change Management strategies, including communication plans, training materials, and stakeholder engagement activities
3. Project Management
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring business transformation projects
- Ensure tasks are completed on time and within scope (depending on skill level & experience, opportunity to take over own work packages)
4. Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the Business Transformation team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project documentation, and other related tasks
Desired starting date: March 16th, 2025.
*The internship is set for a period of 6 months
Working days: 3-5 days per week
Compensation (calculated on the basis of hourly wage and paid on a monthly basis) will be provided

- Fluent Japanese (equivalent to JLPT N2 or higher: very high level of spoken Japanese and high level of Kanji comprehension)
- Fluent English (B2/C1)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Microsoft Teams, Power BI (advantage)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of project management principles is a plus
