Challenging Internship at Bosch Japan! You will get a chance to work for a global player and be a part of a dynamic team where you can gather practical and on-the-job experience with a mix of day-to-day operations and projects. As a team-member of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) project office JAPAN, your task(s) will include: 1) analysis of business cases related to SOFC in Japan or the world; 2) study of technical and non-technical documents; 3) discussing, reporting and information exchange in both Japanese and English languages with domestic and international colleagues, and 4) something related to your strength. Applicants with technical and non-technical background are welcomed. A further detail information will be given during your interview.

Required specialized knowledge

1) マイクロソフトオフィスの基礎知識（例：エクセル、パワーポイント、ワード）/ Basic knowledge of Microsoft office (e.g., Excel, Power Point, Word).

2) 燃料電池やパワーエレクトロニクス、コージェネレーションや他関する技術的な知識/ Technical knowledge specifically on fuel cell, power electronics, co-generation system and related fields;

Preferred language abilities

1) 日本語が堪能であること（日本語検定2級以上、もしくは相応の能力）/ proficiency in Japanese languages (JLPT N2 or above, or the relevant ability).

2) 英語が堪能であること/ proficiency in English languages.

Preferred skills

学士号以上の教育(教育中も可）を受けていること/ Any type of discipline in bachelor level or above;

Additional assistance

インターンシップの対象開始 2023年9月以降/ Target Internship Start: September 2023 or later

フルタイムスキームで月18万円（40時間/週）、14万円（28時間/週）、12万円（20時間/週）の手当てを支給しております。また、特定活動ビザ申請を潤滑に行うため、必要な書類や情報も全てご用意しております。ビザの申請にはフルタイムで3ヶ月ほどかかる場合がありますので、ご注意ください。また、12ヶ月間のインターンシップ期間を予定している方/既に日本での在留資格をお持ちの方には、月々の総支給額が支給されます。

We offer a very competitive monthly net allowance of 180,000 JPY for 40 hours/week, 140,000 JPY for 28 hours/week or 120,000 JPY for 20 hours/week, including commuting fees. We will also provide you with all necessary documents and information for a successful Designated Activities visa application. Please note that the full visa process may take up to three months. Furthermore, applicants who intend to have an internship period for 12 months/already hold residence status in Japan will receive a monthly gross allowance.


勤怠形態/ Working style

新型コロナウィルスの影響下、勤怠形態や勤怠時間帯に関して交渉可能です（例：在宅勤務、フレックス時間）。

Due to COVID-19, your working hours and styles are negotiable, such as home office, flex hours.



日本国籍の方/ Japanese Nationals:

日本国籍の方はビザの手続きは必要ありません。受入部署のニーズに応じて、採用後1ヶ月以内にインターンシップを開始することができます。

Please note that Japanese nationals do not require a visa process. Depending on the needs of the receiving department, students fulfilling this condition may begin their internship within one month of being hired.



留学生/ Exchange students

学生ビザで資格外活動許可を取得している外国籍の方は、ビザの手続きは必要ありません。これらの条件を満たしている学生は、パートタイムでの勤務のみ可能です。受入部署のニーズに応じて、採用後1ヶ月以内にインターンシップを開始することができます。

Please note that foreign nationals on a student visa with permission for part-time job (資格外活動許可) do not require a visa process. Students fulfilling these conditions will be eligible to work on a part-time scheme only. Depending on the needs of the receiving department, exchange students may begin their internship within one month of being hired.



5: 外国籍の方（ビザが必要な方）/Non-Japanese Nationals (visa requirements):
日本国籍をお持ちでない方は、ボッシュ・ジャパンのインターンシップに参加するためには「特定活動ビザ」の取得が必要です。そのため、以下の条件を満たす学生のみが応募可能です。

A) インターンシップの3ヶ月前からインターンシップ期間中、大学に在籍していること。

B) インターンシップを行う場合、ビザ申請の際に、インターンシップが大学のカリキュラムの中で必須または強く推奨されているものであることを確認する書類への署名が必要となります。

Please note that applicants who are not Japanese nationals need to be eligible to obtain the Designated Activities Visa for an internship with Bosch Japan. Therefore, only students who fulfill the following conditions are eligible to apply:
A) Enrolled student at a university at least 3 months before the internship and during the entire internship period.
B) Doing the internship will require your university to sign a document confirming that the internship represents a mandatory or strongly recommended part of your university curriculum when applying for your visa.

Others

また、以下の条件を満たしていることが必要です/ Additionally, you should:

1) 当社に数か月～6ヶ月（最長12ヶ月）間滞在できる方/ Be able to stay for a period of several months to a half year (max. 12 months) at our company;
2) インターンシップ期間中、大学に定期的に在籍していること/ Be regularly enrolled at a university during the entire internship period;
3) 柔軟性があり、異文化の中で生活し、働くことに意欲的であること/Be flexible, willing and motivated to live and work in a different culture.



Special note:

Since Japan is currently restricting new entries into the country with its travel ban due to worldwide pandemic COVID-19, our internship programs have been significantly affected. We are trying to minimize the effect of this travel ban, however it is now difficult to proceed the hiring process for all of the candidates, especially for the ones abroad at this time. Putting this uncertain situation into consideration, we kindly ask you to understand that we will be prioritizing applicants with valid working visas / student visas who are already in Japan, in order to proceed smoother hiring process for all. We, as Bosch Japan, are very much looking forward to welcoming our future students from abroad, once this travel ban is lifted.
