Challenging Internship at Bosch Japan! You will get the chance to work for a global player and be a part of a dynamic team where you can gather practical and on-the-job experience with a mix of day-to-day operations and projects. As a team-member of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) project office JAPAN, your task(s) will include:
1) Information collection, study and report of technical knowledge related to SOFC business, including electric, gas and energy; 2) Technical discussion, report, information exchange in Japanese and English with domestic and international colleagues; 3) Patent survey, partners and technology survey of SOFC system and stack; 4) Task that can make use of your strong point. The detail will be discussed through interview.

Required specialized knowledge

必要なもの（必須）
1) 学士号以上の技術・科学・工学系の教育を受けていること。2) 日本語がネイティブレベル（少なくとも日本語検定2級以上、もしくは相応の能力）。3) 英語の基本的な能力を有すること。4）マイクロソフトオフィス（エクセル、パワーポイント、ワード）。
Required (must have):
1) Technical, scientific or engineering education in bachelor level or above; 2) Native level of Japanese languages (at least JLPT N2 or above, or the relevant ability); 3) Basic capability in English languages; 4) Microsoft office (Excel, Power Point, Word).

Preferred skills

望ましい（必須ではない）
1) システム工学、電気工学、パワーエレクトロニクス、機械工学、化学工学、またはこれらに類する分野の技術的知識を有すること。2) 燃料電池技術に関する技術的な知識。3) 知的財産に関する基礎知識。
Preferred (not mandatory):
1) Technical knowledge on either system engineering, electrical engineering, power electronics, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or similar discipline; 2) Technical knowledge specifically on fuel cell technologies; 3) Basic knowledge on intellectual property.

インターンシップの対象期間 2023年8月以降の半年間以上
※フルタイムスキームで月18万円（40時間/週）、月14万円（28時間/週）、月12万円（20時間/週）の手当てを支給しております。また、特定活動ビザ申請を潤滑に行うため、必要な書類や情報も全てご用意しております。ビザの申請にはフルタイムで3ヶ月ほどかかる場合がありますので、ご注意ください。また、12ヶ月間のインターンシップ期間を予定している方/既に日本での在留資格をお持ちの方には、月々の総支給額が支給されます。 
Target Internship Period: August 2023 or later for 6 months or more
*We offer a very competitive monthly net allowance of 190,000 JPY for 40 hours/week, 140,000 JPY for 28 hours/week or 120,000 JPY for 20 hours/week, including commuting fees. We will also provide you with all necessary documents and information for a successful Designated Activities visa application. Please note that the full visa process may take up to three months. Furthermore, applicants who intend to have an internship period for 12 months/already hold residence status in Japan will receive a monthly gross allowance.

**Japanese Nationals:
Please note that Japanese nationals do not require a visa process. Depending on the needs of the receiving department, students fulfilling this condition may begin their internship within one month of being hired.
 
***留学生
学生ビザで資格外活動許可を取得している外国籍の方は、ビザの手続きは必要ありません。これらの条件を満たしている学生は、パートタイムでの勤務のみ可能です。受入部署のニーズに応じて、採用後1ヶ月以内にインターンシップを開始することができます。
***Exchange students
Please note that foreign nationals on a student visa with permission for part-time job (資格外活動許可) do not require a visa process. Students fulfilling these conditions will be eligible to work on a part-time scheme only. Depending on the needs of the receiving department, exchange students may begin their internship within one month of being hired.
 
****外国籍の方（ビザが必要な方）。
日本国籍をお持ちでない方は、ボッシュ・ジャパンのインターンシップに参加するためには「特定活動ビザ」の取得が必要です。そのため、以下の条件を満たす学生のみが応募可能です。
A.) インターンシップの3ヶ月前からインターンシップ期間中、大学に在籍していること。 B.) インターンシップを行う場合、ビザ申請の際に、インターンシップが大学のカリキュラムの中で必須または強く推奨されているものであることを確認する書類への署名が必要となります。
****Non-Japanese Nationals (visa requirements):  
Please note that applicants who are not Japanese nationals need to be eligible to obtain the Designated Activities Visa for an internship with Bosch Japan. Therefore, only students who fulfill the following conditions are eligible to apply:
A.) Enrolled student at a university at least 3 months before the internship and during the entire internship period; B.) Doing the internship will require your university to sign a document confirming that the internship represents a mandatory or strongly recommended part of your university curriculum when applying for your visa

また、以下の条件を満たしていることが必要です。
1) 当社に数か月～6ヶ月（最長12ヶ月間）滞在できる方。2) インターンシップ期間中、大学に定期的に在籍していること。3) 柔軟性があり、異文化の中で生活し、働くことに意欲的であること。
Additionally, you should:
1) Be able to stay for a period of several months to a half year (max. 12 months) at our company; 2) Be regularly enrolled at a university during the entire internship period; 3) Be flexible, willing and motivated to live and work in a different culture.
 
Special note:
Since Japan is currently restricting new entries into the country with its travel ban due to worldwide pandemic COVID-19, our internship programs have been significantly affected. We are trying to minimize the effect of this travel ban, however it is now difficult to proceed the hiring process for all  of the candidates, especially for the ones abroad at this time. Putting this uncertain situation into consideration, we kindly ask you to understand that we will be prioritizing applicants with valid working visas / student visas who are already in Japan,  in order to proceed smoother hiring process for all. We, as Bosch Japan, are very much looking forward to welcoming our future students from abroad, once this travel ban is lifted.
