☆ HR Communication Internship ☆

PABCO is a subsidiary of “Mitsubishi-Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation” and part of the Daimler group.
With an annual turnover of around 25 billion JPY, we are one of the leading suppliers of truck bodies
in Japan for both captive and other OEM’s chassis. This entire turnover is generated by the domestic
business in Japan.

For our headquarters in Ebina, Kanagawa, Japan, we are looking for interns to place in the
following positions:

• HR / Communication

Main Task 1 Supporting the Roll-out of PABCO’s communication strategy
- Analyzing survey results and draft a proposal about how we can use the results to improve PABCO’s work culture
- Creating posters and videos to support change management processes and to motivate employees with the support of the Design department
- Planning and organizing quarterly Town Hall Meetings
- Planning and organizing other company events (International Café, Family Day, etc.)
- Updating the DTAOne App Registration List and collecting and submitting articles about PABCO
- As part of the intern project, setting up a Company Facebook Page and update it on a regular basis after the opening

Main Task 2 Support Communication & Language Exchange at PABCO
- Create an English language training manual with the Training & Development Team
- Organize weekly Language Exchange classes
- Facilitate as a trainer for Language Exchange program
- Coordinate communication café events monthly (yet to commence)

Other Task Supporting role for the HR Department
- Supporting daily HR tasks
- Creating Power Point Presentations or Excel Data
- Taking and circulating minutes of meetings
- Providing communication/translation support for the HR team

Required specialized knowledge

- Good Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with organizing events, HR tasks and/or Communication is highly welcome

Preferred language abilities

Japanese (N2 or N1)
English (business C2)

Preferred skills

・We prefer full-time interns (40h per week) for at 6 months, but shorter periods and part-time is possible
・Enrollment as a University Student during the entire Internship period is mandatory
・No specific study background, but interest in learning about HR and Communication work
・Well organized, able to work independently and ready to take responsibility
・Structured work-approach and logical mindset

The application process takes some time, so please submit your application early on (at least 3 months in advance if you do not hold a Japanese passport or are currently not in possession of a Japanese visa), even if the internship period is further ahead. The internship period can be adjusted according to your university schedule.
